Chris Nelson Jr. is a Professional barber, creative director, and Founder of Wicked Edge Barbershop & Salon, TooWickedUS, and Grim Sovereign LX. Known for wicked fades, razor‑sharp lineups, and disciplined precision, Chris blends technical fundamentals with bold creative energy to deliver polished, confident, and intentional results. Growing up in Charleston, SC, he built his entire craft from nothing no shortcuts, no handouts graduating Highschool in 2.5 years I finished really early with a 4.45 GPA and turning barbering, fashion design, and branding into a unified creative lane.Through Wicked Edge Barbershop & Salon, Chris brings a standard of professionalism and pressure that shows in every fade, every lineup, every detail. His vision reaches beyond the chair: he’s building a future of barbershops, creative studios, and clothing brands designed to give young people opportunities he never had. Every client who books with him steps into a space shaped by discipline, consistency, and earned wicked pride.Beyond the chair, my designs for Too Wicked US and Grim Sovereign LX showcase my apparent ability to translate my vision into a culture. Too Wicked US embodies bold streetwear rooted in authenticity and self-expression in a wicked reality. While Grim Sovereign pushes that energy to the limit into a refined luxury fashion. Together, these brands represent my commitment to excellence, innovation, and empowerment. (MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING)- No‑Show:
If you miss your appointment you’ll be charged the $15 deposit from the service price. With No Refunds.
MORE THAN ONE NO SHOW RESULTS IN PERMANENT BLOCKING FROM BOOKING💯- Late Arrivals:
More than 10 minutes late counts as a no‑show. Respect the craft
(STRICT POLICY)- 24‑Hour Appointment Cancellation Fee:
Canceling an appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled time adds an extra $10 fee, on top of the booking deposit.
This applies only to appointments, not general inquiries or reschedules made outside the 24‑hour window.- Clean Hair & Face Required:
Make sure your hair is thoroughly cleaned before the appointment it keeps the cut sharper and the process smooth. No gel, no oil, no excessive dirt.
If any of these are present, there will be a $5 surcharge.- Reference Picture:
Picture references are optional. They can be used when you want a custom design or a specific change, helping me understand your vision more clearly. They don’t lock in your look for the day — they simply make communication easier when explaining the haircut is difficult.- No Extra Guests:
Only the client being serviced is allowed in the room. This keeps the space professional and distraction free. The only exception is if you notify me ahead of time.- Check‑In Required:
After arriving, check in immediately to confirm your arrival to the appointment.- $15 Booking Fee:
A $15 non‑refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. It protects your slot in case of cancellations and is applied toward your total at checkout.
Deposits are Card Only‼️- 12 - Hour Advanced:
All appointments must be booked at least 12 hours in advance. Same‑day bookings are not available. This ensures proper scheduling, transportation, and service quality.- Walk In Policy.
Walk‑ins are accepted at my discretion and only when I choose to. Im not always available in the studio. To guarantee your spot, all clients are required to book an appointment in advance.- Future Booking Window:
Clients can Book up to 3 months in advance.
ANY higher than that is UNACCEPTABLE by any means.- After HOURS Deposit:
A $30 convenience deposit is required for any appointment scheduled after 7:00 PM. This deposit secures your after‑hours booking.
